Deep Rock Galactic exceeds 10 million players after exit on PlayStation
Deep Rock Galactic is a participating first-person shooter developed by the Danish workshop Ghost Ship Games and released by Coffee Stain Publishing. Deep Rock Galactic was released on May 13, 2020, for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One after 2 years advancement time.
A week after making its debut on PS5, PS4 and the PlayStation Plus subscription, the Deep Rock Galactic players base explodes the counters. According to a Coffee Stain statement, the cooperative game has now seen more than 10 million players, including 6 million in the space of a week.
As a reminder, Deep Rock Galactic had 3 million copies sold last November, to which was added a little less than a million players from the Xbox Game Pass. Two months and an integration into the PlayStation Plus later subscription, Deep Rock Galactic has passed the 10 million players. The Ghost Ship Games team, which has fewer than thirty people, says to the least happy with the reception reserved by PlayStation players. The server list is filled with new players and many have contacted us directly to tell us how much they like the game. We receive a lot of suggestions, returns and help to find the bugs and problems, commented Sore Landward, CEO of Ghost Ship Games. Whether they are veterans or recent converts, players have an appointment next spring for season 2 of Deep Rock Galactic .
